Heart in the cup

Few symbols are looked for in the cup as eagerly as the heart. Full and whole, it speaks of affection that has arrived or is returning; slightly warped, of a feeling still sorting itself out. It isn't always about love for someone else — sometimes the grounds simply show that you have become important to yourself again.

Position changes the tone: nearer the rim speaks of what is close, nearer the bottom of what is further off; a clearer shape speaks louder than a faint one.
