Stranger in the cup

Sometimes a faceless shape appears in the grounds — a blurred silhouette without clear features. Such a form is always read as someone who has yet to enter your story: a new acquaintance, a collaborator, a meeting along the way. Closer to the rim, the meeting is nearer; the blurrier the shape, the less reason there is to hurry your trust.

Position changes the tone: nearer the rim speaks of what is close, nearer the bottom of what is further off; a clearer shape speaks louder than a faint one.
