Suitcase in the cup
A closed rectangle with a handle on top reads as a suitcase: a departure being prepared, shorter or longer. It carries both a literal trip and an inner one — a readiness to pack something up and leave it behind. A full, heavy suitcase suggests a move or an extended stay away from home; a small, light one, a short outing and a quick return.
Position changes the tone: nearer the rim speaks of what is close, nearer the bottom of what is further off; a clearer shape speaks louder than a faint one.
