Fish in the cup

Tradition reads the fish as abundance arriving by water — through feelings, through people, through what isn't planned. Clearly drawn, it promises an opportunity worth reaching for while it's near; blurred and spread out, it calls for patience. Several fish together hint at a choice. Sometimes it's simply a quiet reminder that some things know how to swim in on their own.

Position changes the tone: nearer the rim speaks of what is close, nearer the bottom of what is further off; a clearer shape speaks louder than a faint one.
